So a week-long sewing spree isn't exactly (ok, far from) seeing the world, but I WILL be living out of my suitcase for awhile. I have no idea how this came so suddenly, because I've known for ages that "the trip" would surface eventually. It was supposed to be last week. Then we canceled. Which was good, since no one was ready and our employers weren't going out of town (yet. had the dates mixed up.) But here it officially is. o.O Something tells me that with several good friends together in one house for a decently-long period of time. . .very little sewing will happen. I foresee long nights up, large amounts of ultimate Frisbee (that I will demurely decline,) hymn-singing around the piano. . .and possibly a few snitches of costume making here and there. Possibly. Now tell me. . .how does one finish two entire 18th century Ball gowns and ALL the accessories in one week on ONE sewing machine? My sentiments exactly. It can't be done. ;)
Sooo. . .I am trying with all my little heart to recruit three guest posters to fill the gap; you may or may not be treated to their beautiful selves within the next week. We shall see. In the meantime--au revoir. Don't get into too much trouble while I'm away.
