Tiny stories. . .

Just a little update to say hi and remind you that I am still alive. ;) You are all so awesome, patient, and just amazing people. :) I appreciate every.single.one.of.you. My online consumption has been massively downsized, which makes me happy. There IS a world outside "the box" #computurI'mlookingatyou Otherwise, life has been plotting along it's usual course. Oh, and there should be a post featuring my favorite band very soon. :)

Last week my mom, Anna, and I were very, very privileged to spend two days working on the Independent film, Polycarp, Destroyer of Gods. Not only were we extras, but the Lord provided work the next day. . .which meant seeing tons of friends (we knew mostly everyone working crew,) dabbling in the art, costume, and catering departments, and just being utterly blessed. Would have loved to spend more time working on Polycarp, but I am just so grateful for the short "visit." This is going to be an incredible film, folks! Lemme just say. . .the sets are magnificent. I was just the slightest bit afraid of falling out of my costume. . .and at first the knowledge that there was a camera behind me was unnerving, but then, that's part of the adventure. B) I had a blast. Proud to be even the tinest sentence in the story of Christian film making. Say it with me? God is good.

  1. That's so neat that y'all got to be extras. I have friends working on the set too. Looks like it's going to be a really great movie! :)

    3. Ah, ok. I know the Hedricks and have met Josiah. Didn't realize he was working on the film. He wasn't there when I was. :) Neat to have mutual friends!

That would be something on my bucket list. To act or be an extra in a movie. :)

  4. Wow! That's great! Are they planning to show it at the SAICFF? I'm so thankful for all the effort being put into godly films!
