Oh, as one who'd heart has been bumped, bruised, and broken I know the dangers of having feelings towards anybody or anything. It is only through God's grace that I haven't shut myself away so that I am untouched by pain and grief, but also unreached by love and joy as well.

Yes, to love is to be vulnerable. It also means taking a chance. It can be a wonderful but scary process.
